Tip of the Week:  Calibrate your screen (Win 7)

The colors that you see on your screen can make a digital image look completely different when viewed on another screen if your color calibration is off.

If you want to get your display as true as possible, run the Windows 7 Display Color Calibration Wizard by clicking on the Start icon and typing DCCW and pressing Enter!

Headwhack of the Week:  Create a System Repair disk in Windows 7

Most computers are going to eventually experience some sort of problem and the worst case scenario is not being able to start your computer at all.

In these cases, one of your only options may be to insert a System Repair disk and start from it, but you must create it before you have a problem.

To 'git er done', get a blank CD-R inserted then click on the Start icon, go to the Maintenance program group and select 'Create a System Repair Disc' and follow the instructions!

A new Facebook scam is making the rounds, and it's taking advantage of a non-existent Facebook feature many users crave: the dislike button

*Note: On our recent radio show on Facebook tips, we introduced a third party add-on called Status Magic that allowed you to create a dislike option on your posts that can only be used by others that have the third party app as well.  This app is not any part of the fake dislike scam that is currently in circulation.
