I wouldn't bother buying a book. Everything u need to know can be found on the web for free. In saying that, u are bound to pick up a good bargin on general books about OS 9 and Imacs/G3's on ebay/oreillys etc. The book 'How to do everything with my Mac' is a old title that springs to mind.

The apple site and www.macfixit.com are a good start for mac troubleshooting, although most mac sites are now aimed towards the OSX operating system.
