Sound disappear when you unplug mouse?

When the mouse was disconnected from the PC, the sound disappeared. What does this mean? Can I bring back the sound when theres no mouse?

maybe you just pulled out the wrong plug.. can you check to see if maybe the mouse is still connected and the cable for the speakers was disconnected?
