How to stop excess Programs?

how do i stop excess programs from loading on start up

This question was answered on March 5, 2005. Much of the information contained herein may have changed since posting.
If you really need to have less programs to loading in start up, then you have to remove which ever one you think you don't really need or is unnecessary for your use.
You can go to add and remove going first to settings, control panel, and after you get in add and remove, you have to decide which progran you don't really need.
You also can go to start, Run and write the word "msconfig". In msconfig choose "startup". Over there you can un-check which ever program you don't need.
