How to open .pps files?
Question
I have downloaded power point viewer and it worked well when opening a pps file. Recently, it will not open the file, I get an error message saying it does not have a program associated with it and then asks me to create one. I don't know how to do that. In order to view the pps, usually attached to an e-mail sent to me, I have to save it, then I can open it from where I saved it.
I don't want to save these, why won't it just open when I click on it, since I do have the viewer?
Thanks.

The problems is that application may have missing files associated with it. You can trying downloading the Power Point Viewer again from the following website:

I suggest asking (who ever is sending you those email) politely to send it using a standard graphics format -- JPEG, GIF or PDF as appropriate. So you don't have to keep running into to same problems.
