Having problem installing Scanjet?

I AM HAVING PROBLEMS INSTALLING MY SCANJET 5550c

This question was answered on March 16, 2005. Much of the information contained herein may have changed since posting.
It might be possible, especially if this Scanjet 5550c is not compatible with the operating system your computer is running. If it's compatible, check if there's another printer or scanner install in your machine, its software might been blocking your Scanjet installation.
If there's another printer or scanner install, I recommend that you try to uninstall them first, and then proceed to install your Scanjet 5550c. Sometimes there's conflicts with different softwares with some kind of peripherals.
