How do I empty out my computer before I sell it?

Am selling my computer. Have deleted all documents and some programs. Have emptied the trash. What else is there to do?

This question was answered on November 24, 2005. Much of the information contained herein may have changed since posting.

You said that you removed some documents and programs. Now you need to delete the Directories which are done by typing DEL *.*. The response will be Y or N and pressing Y will delete all files in the directory. This should remove everything in the computer.
