How to lighten my laptop screen?

the display on my laptop is really dark is there a bulb or something that i can fix or replace myself

Dear Laptop,
The way that you can change your display on your laptop is to click start, settings, control panel, appearance and themes, and click on screen resoulution. From there you can change the lightening or darkness on the screen.
