Printer offline and will not print?

my printer keeps saying off line and will not print

This question was answered on January 25, 2006. Much of the information contained herein may have changed since posting.
Check if the printer is off... check if the connection is on and if the printer and the computer are finger tight. check if there is paper jam? try if there is paper in the printer.
