This question was answered on June 30, 2007. Much of the information contained herein may have changed since posting.
You can use them for wall coverings, instead of wallpaper or paint. Just kidding!!
Floppy disks can be disposed of with your regular trash.
However, you want to either erase the disks (reformat) or break them open and destroy (cut up) the piece inside.
You may not want to have someone pulling the disks out of the trash and reading the information, so it is important to make sure the information can not be read by others. (You never now who might be in a trash can or who might be interested enough to read your old disks)
