How does one return their monitor to normal view?

Question

My one year-old son got a hold of my laptop and starting banging on keys, just for a second or two before I was able to stop him. Now my screen is sideways on my computer. What do I do to get it back right side up?

Hey there, I actually just finished answering a similar topic so hopefully I can help you out. Your best option with a laptop is to go into your control panel and adjust your video card settings there. You can actually rotate your screen there so that it will be back to standard viewing-try rotating it 90 degrees to the left. You may also have a monitor button on your laptop that will bring up your monitor adjusting menu where you can also adjust your screen settings, and monitor view as well. Good Luck!
