CD Drive Problems

CD Player does not respond to cd's

This question was answered on November 25, 2007. Much of the information contained herein may have changed since posting.
The easiest solution would be to replace the CD Drive.
CD drives go out often and are really cheap to replace. This could be a good time to upgrade to a CD Burner or DVD Drive.
Shop around at your local electronics store or online.
