Why can my new vista pc not see my xp pc's?
Question
My XP PCs can not see my new Vista PC and my Vista PC can not see my XP PCs or my network hard drive. How do I fix this problem? I am a frequent customer of Steve Iott is Scottsdale. Apparently others have had this problem also. A step by step cookbook would be helpful.

This question was answered on July 7, 2007. Much of the information contained herein may have changed since posting.
This is a problem I also had when I purchased my new computer with Vista, all you need to do is make sure you have file sharing and media sharing turned on on both pc's in your network. These settings will allow your computer's to see eachother.
