Why am I still receiving a runtime error when trying to install Cox security suite?

When trying to launch the Cox Internet Security Suite insatallation, via Internet Explorer 7, I am getting a Runtime error. The error header states visual basic C++ error, then gives the runtime error referencing internet explorer file path. I have re-installed internet explorer and not luck still. Please help. I currently have no virus protection.

This is a tough one and you should definitely contact Cox to see if this is a common problem. As for your virus protection try this site www.free.grisoft.com, there is a wonderful anti-virus program that is free called avg free edition available there. Good luck!!
