The Windows key on your keyboard does much more than just open the start menu. When pressed in combination with other keys it can be a powerfull shortcut to commonly used commands. Here are a few that may prove useful:
• Windows + M: Minimize all Windows
• Windows + E: Open Windows Explorer
• Windows + F: Open Find Files or Folder
• Windows + D: Shows/Hides the Desktop
• Windows + Tab: Cycle through Taskbar Buttons
For other time-saving shortcuts, see Microsoft's website.
