Scanner not working
Question
We have a HP Scanner 3400c. Since we now have Gateway and do not use outlook Express when trying to scan and email from scanner it will now allow us to do so. The scanner was purchased when we had Windows 98. Do we have to replace our HP Scanner 3400c?

This question was answered on June 3, 2004. Much of the information contained herein may have changed since posting.
You need to uninstall the drivers for the scanner and go online to update the drivers. Make sure you unhook the scanner before uninstalling it. Restart the computer and plug the scanner in (USB?) the it should work properly.
