What is the best way to transfer work from a MAC and Appleworks to a PC.

Question

We have a small business and are looking to change from our Mac to a PC. How can we transfer the work we have on Microsoft Word for Mac and Appleworks spreadsheets to be able to read them on a PC?

You did not say which PC you wish to change to but if you are changing from MAC to XP 2002 this is compatabile with MAC. Generally, when changing from one Operating System to another your data will loose its format and get jumbled, so I would suggest that you backup your MAC and Appleworks and after getting your new PC, re-install your data.
