CPSC & Sony announced a recall of VAIO notebook computers!

CPSC & Sony Electronics Inc. recently announced a recall on certain VAIO notebook computers.

Sony Electronics Inc. recently announced a voluntary recall on a few of their VAIO notebook computers. Approximately 5,600 notebooks have been recalled due to a possible mild electric shock users are susceptible to when connected to a phone line. No injuries have been reported yet. Sony VAIO notebook computers with model numbers PCG-FRV25 or PCG-FRV27 sold from June through July 2003 are part of the recall.
